Doing the translation course requires me to read the financial pages to familiar myself with the lingo, which is indeed as boring as it sounds. Anyway, according to the ‘word on the stock market’ (if you will) the general retail slumps this year means that all the shops are starting their X’mas sales early. H&M in particular seem to have a sale since the summer. There's obviously a lot of tat on the rails, but I have been finding quite a lot of nice things from their formal (?) range, which has a lot of Miu Miu & Chloe style knock offs. I found these two dresses for a pleasing 10 pounds each.

Thank you all for the comments! It does seem H&M has a very varied stock, there are days when I went in there and want to buy everything, while other days are just rubbish!
